Usability improvements in XE 1.3

A pop-up menu containing man configuration options has been added to all graphs in XE. Any place where there is a graph, a pop-up menu is accessible with a right-click or control-click on one-button mice. The pop-up menu allows extensive modification of the graph, save the image to any file supported by Java’s ImageIO package, or print using Java’s printer package. In reality, saving the image and printing with the native operating system tools looks a lot better.

The source code for XE is on sourceforge. The package on that page is version 1.2. The 1.3 version is in the tree, accessible via svn. When I get some time, I’ll put together a 1.3 tarball and place it there as well.
